Some of softball's biggest stars came to North Central Texas College in Gainesville on Saturday to honor four young women who lost their lives in a bus accident, to offer support for families and the Lady Lions softball team and raise money for a recently-established scholarship.

MC sophomore guard Quay King had, what most would call, a career night.  In the Chaps 139-73 victory over Southwest Texas Junior College, King from Atlanta, GA, set school records for three pointers made and attempted (16 for 32) to lead the all scorers with 48 points on the evening.
