Richland College Women's Soccer team, regular season Metro Athletic Conference Champions, won the Region 5 tournament this past weekend by defeating North Lake College in the finals by a score of 3-0.  The Thunderducks now advance to the National DIII Women's Tournament in Toms River, New Jersey on November 13-16.  Congratulations to the Thunderducks and Coach Scott Toups.

The Hill College men's and women's soccer teams are both headed to the semi-finals after each team won their regional games on Wednesday, October 29. For the women's team, it's the first time since 2008 that they've won the regional championships, but for the men's team, it's their first-ever win of the regional champions title.

CISCO - Western Texas College punched its ticket for posteason play Wednesday with a 6-0 shutout of Ranger College in the championship game at the National Junior College Athletic Association Region V Soccer Tournament.

The Westerners (16-2), No. 14 in the national poll, will play the Region 6 champion with the date and location to be determined.
