Alston claims WJCAC Baseball Player of the Week honors

Korey Alston of Odessa College has been named the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

A freshman pitcher from San Antonio, TX, Alston led the Wranglers to a key win by tossing a complete game in his only appearance last week. Overall, he scattered just 2 hits and allowed only 1 earned run through 9 innings of work. He finished with 13 strikeouts and a WHIP mark of 0.44.

The WJCAC coaches did not select a Position Player of the Week.
