Richland Hosts Men's Soccer District Tournament Oct. 31-Nov. 1

Dallas College Richland will host the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District Tournament Oct. 31-Nov. 1.

The No. 1-ranked Thunderducks won the Dallas Athletic Conference regular season title, going 4-0. They captured their 52nd straight conference victory in a 6-0 win over Dallas College Mountain View in the final league regular season game.

Richland (10-2-1, 4-0-0 DAC) earned a semifinal bye in the three-team tournament, and will await the semifinal winner in the Saturday, Nov. 1 championship at 6 p.m. Second-seeded Mountain View (9-5-2, 2-2-0) will meet No. 3 seed Dallas College Cedar Valley (1-12-0, 0-4-0) in the semifinal 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.

Games will be streamed on the DAC Sports Network.

Richland has won 10 consecutive district titles. Last year marked the first time the DAC schools hosted a district, with Richland beating Mountain View 3-1 in the final.
