Young Named USC All-American

Dallas College Brookhaven women's soccer's Alyssa Young was named a First Team Junior College Division III All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

A freshman defender from Flower Mound, Texas, Young had seven goals and four assists for 18 points. She was tied for the team lead with three gamewinning goals. She started 17 games, helping the Bears go 16-2-2 en route to a national runner-up finish at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Championships.

Young helped Brookhaven pitch 11 of its 14 shutouts. She also earned USC All-East Region honors.
