WJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 2-8)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 2-8.

Braden Hayward of Midland College is the WJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week. The sophomore third baseman from Lubbock, TX hit .579 for the week with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored.

Connor Queen of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The freshman right-hander from Boerne, TX went 1-0 last week. In 5 innings pitched, he did not allow an earned run and only gave up 2 hits with 5 strikeouts.
